Azalea Town is a small town in the region of Johto. In the Rijon storyline there was an earthquake shortly before Brown and a landslide before Prism, making it impossible to leave via the east. The town is joined to Rijon through the Ilex Forest.
The recent earthquake means that the only buildings accessible are the Pokémon Center and the Azalea Town Gym. The map includes Route 33 to the east, but it is blocked in game and the grass does not spawn any wild Pokémon, nor can Union Cave be entered.
The Slowpoke Well is to the east and can be entered.
Pokémart[]
There are rocks blocking the PokéMart due to the earthquake. Therefore, it is not accessible.
The Azalea Town Gym is the only gym outside of Rijon that the player can challenge, but they cannot win a badge. The leader is Bugsy, who uses Bug-type Pokémon at levels 43-50.
Winning will earn the player a choice between either a level 30 Gligar or Sneasel.
The Azalea Town Gym is one of the two Johto gyms that the player can challenge (along with Goldenrod Gym), and it is located in the south-west of the town. The leader is Bugsy, who uses Bug-type Pokémon at levels 79-84. Winning will award the player TM87 (Megahorn) and the Hive badge.
Kurt's House[]
Main article: Crafting
In the north-west of the town is Kurt's house, where in the main series of games Kurt would make Poké Balls for the player from Apricorns. In Prism, he is retired, but the player is able to make Poké balls themselves if they have the right Apricorn and crafting level.
Bugsy can be battled, but in the current version of Rijon Adventures there is no prize. The leader is Bugsy, who uses Bug-type Pokémon at levels 58-62.
