An in-game trade is a trade made with a non-player character in a Pokémon game.
Pokémon Brown[]
Because Pokémon Brown is a hack of Pokémon Red, the IVs and ID numbers of the traded Pokémon are random. They all have an OT of "Trainer".

Trivia[]
- Since the Pokémon received in an in-game trade is the same level as the one traded by the player, it is sometimes possible to receive a Pokémon at a lower level than is normally possible.
- In Pokémon Brown, Golbat normally evolves into Crobat at level 50. However, a level 15 Shellder can be traded for a level 15 Rhyhorn, which in turn can be traded for a level 15 Crobat.
- With the Mew Glitch, all Pokémon received in Brown's in-game trades are technically obtainable at level 1. However, Crobat does not learn any moves until level 7.
- Bruno, the name of the traded Tyrogue, is a reference to a member of Kanto's Elite Four.
- Adam, the name of the traded Nidoking, is a reference to Koolboyman's real name.
- Keese, the name of the traded Crobat, is a reference to the bat enemies in The Legend of Zelda games.
