The Palette Patrollers are a team of villains based in Naljo. The Pokémon they use are only Pokémon that share their color palette, hence the name "Palette Patroller".
Pokémon Brown[]
One Palette Patroller (called "PalletPatrol" due to the character limit) is seen at Mt. Boulder Gym, and later reappears at the end of the Final Dungeon.
Pokémon Prism[]
There are six Palette Patrollers that make recurring appearances in Pokémon Prism. Palette Red, Palette Blue, Palette Yellow, Palette Green, Palette Pink, and Palette Black. It is stated that Palette Green and Palette Yellow are dating. Each Pallette Patroller only uses Pokémon that match or closely approximate their corresponding color. All of them begin with an Eevee and evolve it according to their color (Umbreon for Black, Jolteon for Yellow, etc.)
Story[]
During the events of Pokémon Prism, the Palette Patrollers are trying to reawaken the Naljo Guardians in order to drive out foreigners and restore the Naljo Region to its former glory and pristine state.
They are first encountered in Mound Cave with their leader, Red, later appearing before the player enters Heath Village. In the Milos Catacombs, Yellow, Green, and Black appear before a few scientists who tell them that they will only be paid if they will do their job. The player later battles the three Patrollers, alongside Palettes Pink and Blue. At Phacelia Town, the player goes undercover as a Palette Patroller in order to apprehend Palette Black. In the Firelight Caverns. Nobu tells the player about the goal of the Palette Patrollers. It is also revealed that Yellow, Green, and Black were considered traitors to the group by Red, while he, Pink, and Blue succeed in awakening Varaneous, only to be taken away by an officer after it goes on a rampage.
On Saxifrage Island, Pallete Blue tells the player that Palette Red somehow escaped while Pallete Pink was taken to Eagulou City. He later gives the player a Cage Key and theorizes that Varaneous was looking to awaken the other Naljo Guardians. Within Saxifrage Prison, Palette Black shows regret for working with the Palette Patrollers and gives the player a Roof Card. When visiting the Algernon Laboratories, it is revealed that the "traitorous" Palette Patrollers were working with the scientists of in order to artificially enhance Pokemon's intelligence. After a battle with Palettes Yellow and Green as well as the scientists of the laboratory, Palette Black arrives with Bruce to have the scientists arrested.
After completing the game, Palette Blue can be found in Rijon's Hayward City, where he reveals to the player that Pallete Red started the Palette Patrollers in Hayward City after being defeated by Brown. After being beaten, he offers the player a Palette Patroller uniform and gives them the status of an honorary member.
