Location Location of Merson City in Rijon.

Merson City can either be reached via Route 55 in the north (by taking the Dock Underpass from Route 52, or by passing through Merson Cave to the west.

Despite the Gym here being the first Gym in the region for new trainers, it is likely the fourth or fifth that the player will reach in Prism.

The beginning of a path to the south is being cleared during the events of Prism, but South Rijon is not available in this game.

The city's gym leader is Karpman, who uses Water-type Pokémon at levels 76-82. Winning will grant the player TM80 (Storm Front) and the Marine Badge.

In the house directly to the top-left of the Pokémon Center is an NPC who will give the player 4 Gold Tokens for every 30 Pokémon they have registered as "caught" in their Pokédex, up to a total of 32 tokens (240 caught Pokémon). If the player brings him a completed Pokédex, he will give them a Shop Ticket.
