Location of Oxalis City in Naljo.
Oxalis City is a city in Naljo. It is connected to Route 73 in the North, and Route 72 in the South.

The city is the location of the first gym. The gym leader is Josiah, a fire-type specialist. It's also home to the Happiness Rater on the east side of town.

Demographics Edit

Oxalis City is home to the Style Saloon in the north-west corner. Players are able to change their sprite's appearance and colour for PokémonDollar1,000.

In the south-east area of the city, players can check the friendship status of their leading Pokemon.

Gym Edit

The Oxalis City Gym is modeled after an active volcano. The player must fight two fire-type trainers before being able to advance to gym leader Josiah.

Winning awards the player with the Pyre Badge and TM82 Will-O-Wisp.

Happiness Rater Edit

Oxalis City has Naljo's resident happiness rater. Who will let players know how happy their Pokemon are for free. She will give it a rating out of 255 and give a letter grade as a guide.

Rookie Trainer Hall Edit

Rookie Trainer Hall is a gathering place for young trainers in the city. Here the player can fight five trainers with varying Pokemon. If the player defeats all five, the last trainer gifts them a level 10 Cyndaquil.

Rookie Trainer Hall can also be used to reach a secluded part of Route 73 which is not normally reachable, there they can find TM53 Whirlwind.
